Do my photos and videos get uploaded?
No. Conversion and filters run in this browser, on this device. The file is not sent to a RePixor server.
What can I do with a photo?
Save it as JPEG, PNG, or WebP, and optionally clean up blockiness, grain, or softness. AVIF is listed only when this browser can encode it. Sharpening makes edges clearer; it does not recover focus that was never recorded.
What does the video tool do?
It changes the container among MP4, WebM, and MKV. Picture and sound stay the same. It does not compress the video, change the codec, or improve quality.
Which browsers work?
Current Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. A format is offered only when that browser can write it.
Why is Enhancer + slow?
It runs a neural network in the browser. That is much slower than the math filters under Enhancer. Smaller images finish sooner.
Will changing a video's file type make it smaller?
No. Only the container changes. The file size stays about the same, and the picture and sound do not change.
What does RePixor store on this device?
Your theme and language, in the browser's local storage. Processed files are not uploaded. They stay in the tab until you download them or leave the page.
